  1. "a temporary disruption of the body's normal biological rhythms after high-speed air travel through several time zones."

Can't get rid of it, you just have to relax and it'll go away.

  2. dramamine with a twist of airborne will knock it out

  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_lag

u cant really get rid of it, it just goes a way natrually as u adjust to the time zone, Go to the website above to get the definition

  4. Jet lag is when you go on a plane into another time zone and your body clock gets all messed up because your eyes are telling all of your body that it's lets say 8:00 PM but your internal clock and your brain are getting really tired and saying "No! It's 11:00 PM!!" The only "cure" for is just some caffeine.

  5. Jet lag is where you are tired after a flight, you can feel as if it is the middle of the night when it is really 1 in the afternoon.  What causes it is going to different time zones (not going north to south) and passing a certain line down the center of the earth (I forget the name) where you are going in a totally different direction and technically "going back or forward in time".

There is no way to prevent or get rid of it, just get sleep when you get back and if you travel really far it may take a while to get over it.  Just make sure when you get where you are going that your watch is correct.

  6. its adapting to another timezone when you go on a plane mostly. Time heals it. That and rest

  7. jet lag is usually defined as the sick feeling you get when you get off a plane. depending on how sick you can get from basic motion sickness, the symptoms can be anything from headaches to throwing up, to temporary hearing loss.... Dramamine is a o.t.c pill you can get in any drug store and it helps!!! trust me

  8. JET LAG and its CAUSE:

Small cluster of brain cells control the timing of biological functions (circadian rhythms), including when we eat and sleep. The body clock is designed for a regular rhythm of daylight and darkness, so it's thrown out of sync when it experiences daylight and darkness at the 'wrong' times in a new time zone (that is, a new area).

    As a result,

That person will be sleepy at all odd hours like 7 pm and wake up at 4 am!

To get rid of a Jet Lag:

    1. Try to catch all the sleep you can on the flight

    2. Stay awake till night time of the new time zone

    3. Switch your clock over to the new one as soon as you board, and from that point, eat, drink and sleep according to your destination clock.

  9. going to a different time zone, where your body is not adjusted to

  10. a body's transition into another time zone
