Kane knew adamle was gonna look in the bag so he put reys in instead of his own. ITS THAT SIMPLE. The bag tonight looked different than what it has done. No solid shape to it tonight. Reys mask is not whats really in the bag.

here's what I personally think:

originally it was supposed to be Kane's old mask, however, because everyone on the internet is a smartass, through leaking information, deduction and what not, spoiled it and suddenly everyone knew it was kane's mask. So what does WWE do? They throw a curveball at everyone and change the storyline in the last minute, confusing everyone and creating a new storyline.

Personally, I think the Kane's mask angle was better, but yeah, the spoilers ruined it so WWE's measure was necessary.

This is just MY opinion though.

Here comes your savior:

There was no point in Kane having his mask in the bag because everybody already knows how he looks like, the whole point of Kane wearing a mask was because he should've been a mysterious monster, and now there's no point of him wearing a mask, Kane had rey's mask in the bag because he wasn't fully recovered, so wwe gave him week's off and made a storyline about it so rey's return would be even more hyped.
