Question:

What is killing the tops of my pine trees?

Just last week, the tops of three large pines in our yard turned brown and within a few days the brownness spread down to the middle of the trees. I am thinking that it must be some type of bug. Is there some type of pine beetle or something that could be destroying our trees? What can we do about it? Will the pines come back to life or will they have to be cut down? I know that it's not from hot weather because we have tons of rain for the past 3 weeks here. Help! I don't want to lose our trees!
