  1. Well kinetic energy is movment energy soo you can get it anyway you move

  2. energy of motion

  3. KE = 1/2 m*v*v (in joules)

    a stationary object has no KE, until you accelerate it, which requires force (F = ma)

    m = mass

    v = velocity

    a = acceleration

    (Aside: totally random movement (KE?) by individual atoms/molecules is actually thermal energy or heat!  KE, on the other hand, involves many many many atoms/molecules moving as a whole.  Its a macroscopic effect!)

  4. Energy due to Molecular Motion WITHIN a substance and, Motion OF a substance. (Physical movement).

    You already have it within you and when you are moving.

    The formula is: KE = ½mv²

  5. "Kinetic energy is the energy of motion.  An object which has motion - whether it be vertical or horizontal motion - has kinetic energy.  There are many forms of kinetic energy - vibrational (the energy due to vibrational motion), rotational (the energy due to rotational motion), and translational (the energy due to motion from one location to another)."(http://www.glenbrook.k12.il.u... par 1)   "Kinetic energy is a scalar quantity; it does not have a direction."(http://www.glenbrook.k12.il.... par 3)  In order to get kinetic energy, you must have potential energy.  Potential energy turns into kinetic energy when you have movement.  Hope this helps.  I got most of it from the website below.

  6. Movement.
