  1. non-existant.

  2. I've never really heard of it happening, but I'm sure it does.

For example, Cocaine use is strictly prohibited here in Canada, as well as many other drugs... yet there are still addicts.

Also, I used to be friends with a guy from Kuwait. His religion forbade the use of drugs and alcohol... yet when he came to Canada to attend school... all he really wanted to do with his spare time was drink, smoke pot, and sleep with as many Canadian girls as he could.

It's nearly impossible for any government to stop it's people from taking part in almost any activity if the people want to do it. The repercussions may be harsher in some places, but there are still people that think they can beat the system and do what they want to do.

  3. By banning alcohol, extremist societies have eliminated the problem of alcoholism. In exactly the same way, some extremist societies have banned heroin use and have thereby completely eliminated heroin addiction.
