  1. It is within the marketing promotion policies of corporates. Labour warranty actually means the warranty of installation, replacement or repairing of a particular good/merchandise for a particular period along with the cost of fitting or labour cost involved  / replacement or repairing of the item without any charge for the labour.

For example, A non-pneumatic-tyre is purchased from a showroom is primarily provided by the show room businessman of the franchisee, say with an warranty of 6 months along with labour warranty for 4 months means : - If the tyre needed to be replaced within this 4 months, the item will be fitted with your car without paying any amount for the labour or mechanic even.

  2. If you, for example, had the radiator replaced on your car, you are paying for two things: The cost of the radiator (parts), and the cost to have someone install it (labour).

The radiator has a one year warranty - if it breaks it will be replaced. The labour has a 90 day warranty. If a hose falls off, for example, they will repair it for free.
