What is lalor in outer melbourne like? Seems cheap and close-ish in time to fitzroy. Will I get stabbed? :-)?

I like in yarraville at the moment and it takes me 40 mins to get to fitzroy for work (and costs 400k+). Lalor seems pretty cheap and is only 30 mins to vic park station. Is any one familiar with the suburb and like to comment?

  1. Lalor is a 'cheap' suburb. Homes are around 20 - 30 years old there.  Mostly elderley generation live there.  You wont get stabbed.  There are other worse places to be.


  2. man thats a turks and lebos suburbs and that is also where all the old people live you might get stabbed in reservior.

    Why dont you move to preston?
