What is lard???!!??!!!!!!!!!!!?

some one told me that i need to start riding my bike to lay off lard and i don`t know what that is!? can some one please help me on what it means!!!

well they were being rude- but you know good quality lard is hard to come by- my italian husband wraps quail in fine sheets of lard to roast them- makes them really crisp and adds to the flavour. So look at yourself as a delicacy that is hard to come by. lol

They are insinuating you eat too many or too much food that contains fat. Example of this would be a Cheese Burger or Fried Foods. Lard is the top layer of fat they skim off the cookers when they render the left over animal parts. Everything go's into the cooker and I mean everything. The video they showed of a rendering plant in Oregon was enough to make me stop using lard. When you fry Bacon and the grease cools, the white greasy fatty substance left over is lard basically.
