Cause of merriment

Yea, I cheated a little  :) hehe

I guess to me it means a sound of your happiness that comes from the heart and belly.

I LOVE A GOOD OLE LAUGH where you can't hardly breath, your face turns red and your almost drooling.  Those are good times.  :)

An instinctual reaction to something. People laugh at different things, it doesn't necissarily have to be "funny" it could be "terrible or sad"

Then again some people do it intentionally for reasons.
