  1. A leased line is used by businesses to connect to geographically distant offices and Dail up is a connection used by calling a number and call the service from your modem but dail up is very slow AOL is a dail up provider.

  2. dial up is when the cord from ur wall phone connection goes from there into urcomputer u have to pay each time u connect to the internet and if u dont use call wait when ppl ring u will get disconnected

  3. Lease line connection have dedicated IP and speed is faster and comes with Cable. but Dial up connection comes with Rj45 cable as general telephone line cable and you have to dial up to a server through a telephone line. Lease Line is very costaly not good for SOHO its only for corporate, rahther than Home or Office use.

  4. hi

Leased line services offered by Eclipse guarantee uncontended bandwidth. If you subscribe to a Leased Line service you are not sharing that line with any other customers, or the bandwidth which goes over it. ADSL is a shared service and there are therefore no guarantees of continuous speed levels, there will be fluctuations of performance according to traffic on the exchange. The A in ADSL stands for Asymmetric which means that upload speeds do not match those of download

    cheers
