  1. Army Diver??? You mean navy diver

  2. Wet.

  3. The Army has divers that work for the engineer department. They do underwater (obviously) welding, salvages, recovery, searches. You could be anywhere from the deep sea to a river or lake. The Army does have divers, as YOU know, but it seems others think because the Army is mainly a land job that it doesn't have divers. They also have big boats and ships too. :)

Anyway, you might be dive tender or the actually diver, be rigging, supplying air hose...each job has it's own responsibility all within the diving MOS. It's also said that you may be in clear Caribbean waters or dark and murky waters. This  one diver wrote that one time when he was down welding a platform/pier support that the water was so dark he could only see what he was doing directly in front of him with his light. Something brushed past his leg which gave him the shivers, but he said you just gotta keep working.

As far as college goes, your down time is your down time-do what you want. You may have to cut into your sleep time, but if a degree is what you want, it is well worth it. A little sacrifice now makes great gain later.

  4. Navy diver, not army. unless the army all of a sudden had a need for divers. you will probably have to talk to a NAVY recruiter on what is expected of your job and if you will have time for courses.

  5. Diver or Driver?
