  1. ..You sound like your from the US.

How different do you expect your life to be? Especially in Toronto..

PS - Sorry you have to move there. cestpit of the Nation, Toronto is.

    ANYWAYS

Toronto is just like any other Canadian or American city. There's lots of cool stores, good places to eat, and busy as h**l!

Don't worry about the seal clubbers, dear, they only come out at midnight.

  2. Toronto is my home and has been my home my whole life! its a great place here. Nice people, lots to do and its a great and beautiful place. i am not going to lie but Toronto is an expensive place just like any other big city. its the largest city in toronto so therefore the most population. but its not over poulated.

overall toronto is an amazing place to be. from my experiences you'll have a great time living here. so have no worries!

  3. Toronto like a lot of large cities is expensive. A typical detached home can go for as much as $500,000.

Taxes: Income, Sales and Property. Less than a 1/3 is taken from your salary. Sales tax for the Province of Ontario is 13%. Property taxes can be as much as $5000 on a 2000sq.ft house.

Toronto is not a cesspit. Sure there are rough parts, but as far as urban goes it's exponentially safer and cleaner than most [if not all] large American cities.

Unless you become a citizen your university tuition maybe upwards of $13,000/year + books + accomodation, seeing as you would be an international student. More than double our tuition.

  4. I live in Canada . Toronto is the largest city . I live in a city called Halifax. Toronto can be really expensive as houses on the market go quick and are in high demand . Toronto is cool , But it seems half the people are asian.  There is alot to do in Toronto  - (MLB , NHL) . Its pretty crowded!!

  5. Toronto has SO much to do! You can go up the CN tower, see baseball/football game at the roger centre, see concerts/basketball/hockey games at the air canada centre. Theres also the sherwood shopping centre, yorkdale mall, and the famous eaton centre. They have a lot of good stores such as abercrombie, hollister, lacoste, american eagle, etc. There is also many live theatres, movie theeaters and restaurants. In the summer you can take a ferry over to centre island where there's an amusemant park. And the CNE (canadian national exhibt) is there which is fun! lots of rides and exhibits. Also, about 20 minutes north of Toronto is a city called Vaughn where Canada's wonderland is, which is A LOT of fun.

  6. Its my favorite place in the world in the summer and autumn.

It's pretty expensive, but there are some cheaper areas. You could try looking in places with higher crime. The 'ghetto' areas of Toronto are tame compared to U.S cities, and its usually safe to walk outside at night. But do it at your own risk.

Yes, Toronto is a kick *** city. Very large, and very gaddibaldo.

University can be costly too. Like anywhere else.
