An emotional roller coaster...you get the elation of finding out your pregnant, the amazement of watching your body grow and change, the pain of delivery, the awe in seeing your baby for the first time, the lack of sleep like you've never imagined, the pride when you see your baby accomplishing new things, the nostalgia when you realize how fast time really does go...just to name a few.

And the best of them all is the love, Love, LOVE you feel for this little person...you love and get loved back like you never thought you could!

Having a baby is the absolute most wonderful thing in the world and I thank my lucky stars every day that I get feel like this!

for me, it was the most amazing experience in the world, bad pregnancy, the labour not so bad, but i would still do it all again to have what i have now !

it's hard and sometimes stressful but very rewarding. babies grow up though, they won't stay innocent and sweet forever. you learn to enjoy the littlest things in life through them. you get excited over things you never thought you'd get excited over, like the first time they poo poo in the potty. you see life in a whole new light. babies are amazing.

Birth: Like having extreme menstrual cramps, followed by burning, and sharp pain. But by the time the last part comes, you dont care.

After: Wondferful and stressful. You just do what you have to do.

I have twin 3 year olds and a 4 month old and I love them so much! They are so much fun to be with and I can't imagine my life without them. I had a c-section with both and the first time it was a lot worse then the second.

Well, the actual "having" of the baby is very painful. I honestly thought I was going to DIE in the delivery room. It was that bad for me. But I knew that my baby was more important than my comfort, so I did it all natural (not even a spinal tap). Once the baby is there, it's amazing. You get to experience the good "momma" stuff. Her first smile, her first curls. Oh...I tear up just thinking about it.

Its the best thing that can ever happen in your life. Being a mommy is the most amazing experience. I love it... and i cant wait to have more kids

just make sure you are ready to have kids. both mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially.

It's a life altering experience. It can be rewarding, frustrating, empowering, heartbreaking, wonderful, stressful. A lot of things, both good and bad.

Anyway you slice it, you're not the same person after you have a baby as you were before.
