I know it has something to do with logarithms. A question for example is ln(3x-7)=5. I forgot what it is.

  1. natural logarithm is the logarithm in base "e"

    e=lim when x->infinite from (1+1/x)^x

    e=2.71...

    the importance of e is (e^x) derivative is e^x

    ln(3x-7)=5 => 3x-7=e^5
