  4. First of all, we are talking about a ficticious character.  Second,the address is incorrect.  THe World's Greatest Detectice, Sherlock Holmes, and his companion, Watson, resided at 221B Baker Street, according to their author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

  8. I believe Sam is correct, it used to be the Abbey National Building Society. I don't know about now, but up until recently, a member of staff there had the job of answering the many letters from people who still think that Holmes was a real character!

  10. If you download google earth, a free program, you can put in that address and it will pull up a satelite image of Baker St.    Looks like it's on the corner.

    It doesn't tell the business there or if it's a business, but it looks to be.
