    Don't go for trunk rattle go for bass and sound quality.

    Kicker is always louder that most brands its just what they do.

    Alpines will sound nicer and cleaner with less distortion but the CVX handles more power I stand to be corrected?

    Go with whatever is a better deal and whatever you think you like better they are both good subs with the proper box and amplifier.
