  1. Low glucose refers to having a low level of glucose (a sugar) in the body. It isn't a disease in itself but could be symptom of one.

  2. Glucose is the word for sugar in blood form, low glucose is the same thing as being drunk. Think about steadily drinking all the time without the good feeling.

  3. Low glucose is a condition not necessarily a disease that is seen in both diabetics and non-diabetics.

In non-diabetics certain foods (usually some forms of sugars) will cause the pancreas to release to much insulin, more than the body is able to handle and low blood sugars occur.

In diabetics there are a number of factors that can cause low blood sugars and they may include:

Alcohol especially when taken with oral diabetic medication's like Metformin.

Intense or vigorous exercise can also lower blood sugar levels to abnormal levels..

Insulin, whether type 1 or type 2 if prescribed, generally insulin has to be administered very carefully with the proper amounts of insulin just prior to meals.

Type 2 diabetics generally use long lasting insulin with or without oral diabetic meds.
