I have 2 inch round holes all over my flower beds and lawn- I see tons of rabbits everywhere and chipmunks...Someone told me to get a cat but I do not want to do that- any ideas to stop these holes from being dug? Thanks!

  1. voles, snakes, dogs, marmots...... contact an exterminator.

  2. Install a rabbit-proof fence. Rabbits do dig these small shallow holes in the ground. They use these areas as toilets. If it is the rabits they will leave the evidence. Moles are stealthy nocternal creatures, they may dig during the day, but rearly move about in the day. Moles will dig just one entrance, and rely on the maze of underground tunnels to avoid danger.

  3. COuld be either...I have them too.  I just deal with it...they belong here too

  4. Hi I have these too and they arn't caused by either rabbits or chipmunks but by moles. what your problem might be are moles. My german Shepherd loves to terrorize them, she never kills them thank hevens but they can scream like the dickens..lol. this might be your problem. But I wouldn't rule out the chipmunks. The rabbits not so much, there dens are ususally in more out of the way places and are bigger. hope this helps
