  1. CF light bulbs add to the amount of mercury in the oceans.  These bulbs should be banned from all homes.

Soon no one will be able to eat fish.

  2. Mother nature is constantly spewing oil into the ocean from underwater vents in the ocean, also sulfur, Co2 and a whole bunch of greenhouse gases, not to mention volcanic lava flowing into the ocean 24/7.

  3. In a word, we are.  WE are dumping, spilling, nuclear energy testing, underwater mining, running cables for this and cables for that.  We are overfishing, desalinizating, underwater oil drilling, and touristing in places where people don't need to be.  It is bad yes.  The effort to fix has to be global.  Keep monitoring current efforts.  And provide input on what does and does not seem to work.  Start at home is always the best answer.  ( I know nag, nag, nag)

  4. There is enough salt in the oceans that it will pickle anything. It is Mother natures way of cleaning itself.
