What is male Bonding ?

i have a office weekend away in the new forest camping trip to inprove with public realtions etc..

i have to male bond with my workmates and due to the face our office is huge i dont see some people from one day to the next, so i have to choose one male member from the group to male bond with.??

what does it all mean ?

Don't like the sound of bonding with just one on a camping trip. I'm not going!

It's just making a friend.... to have a good time with someone from work so that later you'll be happy at work and probably also to help some people improve their social skills. Careful who you pick, they might expect you to do some team work with them in the future.

You have to love the fact that someone called 'Patricia' has 'personal experience' of male bonding !

I guess it takes all sorts....

I think the idea is that men don't generally get close to others like women do... so you have to go out in the woods and 'make fire', hunt food', 'build camp' to develop a relationship and hence 'bond'... I must admit I'm very cynical about these things.... much cheaper and easier to give 2 blokes a bottle of scotch and a p**n movie, if they don't bond then... sh*tting in the woods together sure as h**l ain't go to work.

I wouldn't take it too seriously.... just enjoy your weekend
