What is many English peoples problem with Andy Murray? Are they just jealous of his success?

I am sick fed-up of these narrow minded idiots, from England, constantly having a go at him for absolutely no reason. It must surely be jealousy, on their part, that the only decent British tennis player of the modern age is from Scotland, and not Eng-er-lund!? Seriously get behind him, or **** off! What is their problem?

you are right, they are narrow minded idiots, we can say that these people do not know what he is going through and it is very tough to win a match, especially for him as a youngster. He may have lost some matches and this is the reason why people hate him. I hate those people, and you are also right about them being jealous.

Now,now.Andy is a first rate tosser.Miserable,sulky,anti -english,complaining,ugly, horrible wining voice.l do follow him and he can be an excellent player,but he cannot capture hearts and minds.He deserves his criticisms.If only his injuries were more long term we would all be happier

I dont mind Andy Murray and neither do alot of other people (from england) i know, hes a really reaaaly good player!

I think its just because he's made a few comments about England before and he comes across as being a little miserable and can be quite childish with the way he handles himself and thats nothing to do with his being Scottish. I dont have a problem with the Scots

I dont think there any need for the Scots to critise the English or the other way round. If it were some other country it wouldnt be allowed

i think it's got nothing to do with him being british, i think people don't like him cause he's not a very nice person.-

i don't like the guy at all, but it's not cause he's english, it's for the way he behaves, he can be very childish.-
