  1. They are all measures of central tendncy

    Mean: the aithmetic average - add all values together and divide by the total number of.

    Median: Middle value of scores arranged i assccending/ desending order.

    Mode: The most frequently occuring values e.g. 12222323122 the mode would be 2

    Range: The diffrence between the highest and lowest score, how spred out is the data.

  2. i actually know this one.... mean is the average number so add all the statistics then divide them by the number of stats there were, median is the middle number, mode is the most occuring and range is like the spread - like interquartile range is from the max to min number..... it's all stats.

  3. Mean is what we commonly understand as average.

    (Sum total of values, divided by number of values)

    Median is the 'middle' value.

    (Put values in ascending/descending order.)

    Mode is the most common value.

    (Highest frequency.)

    Range is the spread of the values.

    (Gap between smallest and largest.)

    e.g. 2,2,2,4,4,6,8,8,9

    Mean = 5 (2+2+2+4+4+6+8+8+9) / 9

    Median = 4 (5th value)

    Mode = 2 (frequency is 3)

    Range = 7 (9-2)

  4. these are all mathematical concepts which i learnt in year 8 in highschool, google them, and you should get a very accurate answer,

    hope this helps,

  5. Mean is the average in a set of data. To get this add up every data given, then divide by the number of data in that set.

    Median is the middle number of the data. To get this, arrange the data in numerical order and find the middle number like if data set is 10, find 5th number or if its an odd number say 11, add the fifth and 6th together then divide by 2.

    Mode is the number that appears most frequently in a data set.

    Range is the highest to lowest number in a data set. To get this number simply subtract highest - lowest.

  6. Well teachers usually ask you to do this when they give you a set of numbers and then ask for mean,median,mode,and range.First you have to put the numbers in least to greatest order then if you subtract the top number by the bottom number you'll get the range.Mode is just the number thats there the most sometimes theres not one.Median is the number in the middle if theres two numbers in the middle then you add them both and then divide by two.And finally for Mean you add all of the numbers and then divide by however many numbers there are.

  7. the mean is the arithmatic average such as 9 is the mean of the following range of numbers 6, 6, 8, 12, 13 (which equals 45, divided by 5 is 9 - the mean).  Median is the middle number in the range - in this case it is 8.  Mode is the most commonly occurring number in the range, in this case it is 6 which occurs twice.  The range is the lowest to highest number in the sample or population.

  8. Mean: add all the numbers together and divide by how many numbers there are (1 2 3 4 5 which is 15 total. divide by 5 numbers and your answer is 3)

    Median: list all the number is order from least to greatest and then find the middle number (1 2 3 4 5. the answer is 3)

    Mode: which number is used the most (12, 34, 56, 12, 12. than the answer is 12)

    Range: list the numbers from least to greatest. take the highest number and subtract the lowest number from it (1 2 3 4 5. take 5-1 and your answer is 4)

  9. The mean is the sum of all the data divided by the number of pieces of data.

    The median is the number that lies in the middle when all of the data numbers are written in order.

    The mode is the number that appears the most in the data

    The range is the difference between the largest and smallest numbers in the data

  10. mean is the whole total of numbers divided by the amount of numbers there are.

    median is the middle number(line the numbers up in order)

    mode is most common

    range is the highest number subtract the smallest
