What is mean by RAC 6,GNWL RAC 5 in Railway ticket?

The current Status as per Indian railway PNR inquiry is RAC 4. But I have noticed by regularly checking on the same site that around 15 tickets were canceled,But my reservation status was changed by 1 number only from RAC 5 TO RAC 4

RAC means Reservation - Against - Cancellation. This is the nest level for a Wait List Ticket. It Goes like Wait list(WL)5,4,3,2,1...then RAC 2,1. The chances of RAC getting confirmed is more in comparison. With RAC tickets the passengers can board the trains.On the contrary, On a wait list ticket, the passenger cannot board the train.
