What is meant by Probability Scale?

I am referring to the Maths Topic of PROBABILITY

I kind of want its definition or explanation

probability scale goes from 0 to 1. Where zero is impossible, and 1 is definite. for example the probability of the sun rising tomorrow is 1 and the probability of rolling a 7 on a six face dice is 0. Any thing else can be expressed as a fraction, eg. the probability of getting head when you flip a coin is 1/2.
