I am attempting to get wireless farther than what the router is putting out, How can I get the signal to go farther than what the N puts out? Wondering if 2 wireless routers can be hooked in tandem in order to reach the location desired.

  1. Yes, that is exactly what bridging does. It allows multiple routers to transmit the same wireless network. To do this you have to place the routers into bridge mode. Do this by entering their settings. If they support it, the settings will be in there.

Fun Fact: The city of Anaheim has a massive Wi-Fi network consisting of hundreds of bridged routers. It covers the entire city.
