What is meant by cosmic collision??????????

Usually, that celestial bodies impact, like a large meteor falling on the Earth. "Cosmos" refers to space.

As Vincent said it is a collision with something from space.  It also refers to galaxies, planets, and satellites(by that I mean moons).
