  1. Sorry to the ICU person above, but in this context it means that the orexin and hypocretin were administered directly into the brain, probably into the hypothalamus; and at the very least into the ventricular system.


  2. Central administration means the &quot;drug&quot; is infused into a central vein such as the subclacian, internal jugular, or vena cava. It requires a special, long IV catheter
