What is meant by "winner at a losing game?"?

I don't understand how he can win at something, when you're supposed to lose, because it's a losing game. so, wouldn't he be losing if he was winning at the losing game?

I understand that he loves a girl that doesn't love him back.

it's just, that ONE LINE, I don't understand the wording of.

it make no sense to me whatsoever.

please help me.

haha..thats wierd..cuz i was thinking of the same thing when i heard that song by Rascal Flatts.

But he says.."if love is really forever im a winner at a losing game."

so i think he is saying that since he hasnt found love..its a loosing game to him and he is winning.

ha..omg..

Im confusing myself.
