if u are using electronics as ur medium of communication then its reffed as electronic media..like u watching live telecast of a football match...here electronics comes into action ...

other medias are like magazines ..even though they use electronics  for printing purpose its not an electronic media...

Generally this day in age, electronic media refers to media accessed by the Computer or through the internet.  Although televisions and radios are electronic, they use a broadcast signal to transfer their information which makes them broadcast media.
