  1. A closed system is when there are no inputs or outputs (gains or losses) of energy or mass.  The earth can be considered a closed system, for most purposes anyway, with respect to mass, but cannot be so considered respecting energy, as you can easily discover by walking outside on a sunny day.

And fraise is a strawberry in french.  the word you wanted to use is phrase.

  2. The phrase is incorrect.  A closed system is one that toddles along with no extrenal influences interferring with things.  The Earth is under constant bombardment from stuff like cosmic rays, solar power and meteorites.  And then there's the pull exerted by gravity of other bodies.  It also sometimes gets involved in hurling stuff out by, for example, a process called outgassing and the exertion of gravity.

All these groovy things are interactive participation with the wider solar system (and galactic) community, and that's why the phrase happens to be strictly speaking wrong.

  3. A closed system is a system in the state of being isolated from the environment.

Earth is not a Closed System, if it were we wouldn't be able to receive any light or heat from the sun. etc..

And it is 'phrase' not 'fraise' Hope this helps :)
