This is interesting question.

At first, no need of medical insurance here in UAE for visit visas (the present rules) if you are not renewing the visa. The visit visa normally valid for 60 days from the date of entry.

So, you have to take a medical insurance once you renew your visit visa for another one more month. The med. insurance counter will be there in NRD's.

Second thing, it is 100% clear that visit visa is only for the purpose of visiting this country or entering the country and it is clear that working on visit visa is illegal and hence a punishable offense here. So keep this in mind before taking any decision.

It is illegal to work on a visit visa! If you want to get all your medical insurance rights, and other rights you should simply ask the company/place you will working for to sponsor you.

If you want to work here and BE LEGAL you should switch your visa to a working visa!
