What is merely true biblical creation or scientific creation(big bang theory)??

Hi I would like know what is merely true is it big bang or the biblical creation.and can your put evidences to your answer or can you please defend it....

The Big Bang is true. The /scientific theory/ of evolution (two separate things) has an overwhelming amount of evidence to support it. If you've paid attention in science class since second grade, you should already have all your answers.

It is physically impossible for the creationism belief to be proven true. Why? Because it is a BELIEF. A belief is based on nothing more than FAITH. Faith is something that has no supporting evidence; if it has even a shred of it, then it is no longer religion; it is science. And since all that could be declared an outright truth from the Bible is no more than a shred of it, it would undoubtedly be disproven in a matter of minutes. The same can be said of all religious texts.

Biblical creation story is no more true than any children's fairy tale in terms of being scientifically correct.  Of course the original purpose of Bible stories was not to usurp science, since science was not known when the Bible was written, but to try to give a primitive explanation of everything and put a prohibition on questioning it by saying it was done by an authoritarian God who gets angry at people who question him.  Unfortunately we still have some primitive people who believe the Bible as if it were literally true.

the big bang theory is just a theory. there is no solid proof or truth. and about the biblical cration. its not exactly proved eather. science says we evolved from apes. but i have faith in god and i believe in the bible.

Did all humans in the Bible come from Adam and Eve? No. Cain's wife's people came from the land of Nod and were clearly not descended from the first man and the first woman. So the bible suggests that when IT says something, it may not be the whole story.

When the earth was formed it went from part of a star (light) to a planet (firmament) to having water (cooling, oceans formed) to having plants, then animals and then man. Where is the contradiction? Oh yeah the DAYS, just like the FIRST man and the FIRST woman, are contradicted by the fact that there are TWO creation stories in Genesis!

Now I get very upset with people who say Adam and Eve and Noah are just fairy tales. There may well have been an actual flood and an actual Garden of Eden. But the Bible didn't discover the atom or prove the earth wasn't the center of the universe or anything, so why am I questioning science with MYTHOLOGY (even if I believe it, that is what it is.)

The Big Bang Theory is a Theory. Theory are likely possibilities, not TRUTHS. So what is TRUTH is what you believe with all of your heart and mind, and what is LIKELY is what science suggests. Apples and Oranges.

An interesting quest...for mere truth. Since it is truth you are after, then it must not be merely man's opinion. There is only one source that I know of that claims to be absolute (not mere) truth - and that is the Bible, that describes the abrupt appearance of all basic kinds.

How does science enter the picture? Only through observation of what can be seen or measured. Obviously the way in which things came into being is outside true science, so any such theory must be taken by faith.

Big Bang is described in the first creation of Genesis. In the beginning god moved and created all the stars and moons etc. The second creation is when the Lord pretended to create and made the world in which we live.

I believe BOTH of them are true at the same time. That is everything was created from a single BIG molecule that exploded in the Big Bang and everything was created. Well that is NOT inconsistent with the biblical creation because God created that BIG molecule that started the Big Bang. The first chapter of Genesis just describe what scientists  and astronomers discovered thousands of years later with our space telescope Hubble, that is what happened after the Big Bang. If you study it enough(Chapter 1 Book of Genesis) and the Theory of the Big Bang you will see they are very much alike.
