I have a pattern that doesnt really explain what it is at all. Do I make it or should I buy it? How or where? It says I need mesh # 11

  1. Did your pattern come from a book? It sounds like there may have been a section of many different meshes, & you are to use #11. You can makea simple mesh called the chain link in my book:

Start w/ multiple of 4 ch +2 ch (make as many as needed for the width of your mesh)

Row 1, sc in 2nd ch from hook, *6ch, skip 3ch, 1sc in next ch; rep from * to end, turn.

    Row 2, 8ch (= 1dtr, 3ch) , 1sc in first 6ch arch, * 6ch, 1sc in next 6ch arch, rep from * to end, 3ch, 1dtr in last sc, turn.

Row 3, 1ch, 1sc into first dtr, * 6ch, 1sc in next 6ch arch, rep from * to end placing last sc in 5th of 8ch @ beg of prev row, turn.

Rep Row 2 & Row 3 until you have the desired length.
