What is middle school like????

Question

and what should my morning scedule be like.

i always wake up at 5:30 or 6 am

i have to

-shower

-put makeup on

-put on contacts

-and get dressed

-and eat breakfast

i dont get on the bus my mom drives me to school

and

school building opens at 7:15 and classes start ant 8:00 or 8:30 one of those

AND

what is middle school like and what are the classes like and what are the class schedules we have connections and the regular 7 subjects THANKS!!!

and what is in style in middle school i have my own distinct style (it is a kinda wierd style) but could you tell me anyways??

and are vera bradley totes out of style? if they are i'll probably get a tote form pacsun one of th rroxy totes wut do you think??

dont want a tot from abercrombie or aero or hollister or american eagle

First. You have to be 13 to be on Yahoo!Answers! Second. You wear make-up and you aren't even in middle school yet! and Third. It's only middle school for gosh sakes, you'll get used to it.

Well you have to switch classes but thats about all the difference. You don't have assigned seats, also, if you don't pass a semyster then you have to retake the whole thing until you  do. other that people still don't care whats in and whats not.

You may think that middle school is hard, full of drama and like Degrassi.

Its not. Its like elementary school. Yeah, there may be the occasional fight here and there but not really. There are no popular girls that run the school so don't worry. It'll either be super fun or super boring.

most ppl fail because they don't do it. besides from test/exams its the most important part of your grade. It's harder than elementary school, but its not SUPER hard like where you'll have to work on something 'til 3am.

Middle School is fun ... if you have the right friends. I don't mean good or bad kids i mean REAL friends. I don't even know what a  Vera Bradley tote is ... but Roxy or Pacsun sounds good (I'd personally go with Ed Hardy or something from hottopic). My best advice is have fun be yourself. Waking up t 6 sounds good. Do your work but please do not be a suck up.

stick with ur style , ull find people that like u for you

vclasses are just like elemnatary school just a little harder and in seperate rooms with seperate teachers.

i you want go like a week before school starts and ask if u and ur parents can get a copy of ur teachers/ classrooms. that way you will know where things are before and your teachers will even know you before hand. its a huge help. and u dont have to be the new kid that doesnt know where they are going. if u have friends in older grades that will be going to the same school ask them to go with u and give u advice specific to your school (what telective classes are the best, which bathrooms are the least gross, if the fries at lunch are worth the dollar, ect. )

its tough and there is more work then elementary school, people will be going through alot of changes and you will need to deal with more mature things, but you'll be fine

basically you have 7 periods (each being around 45 minutes) and different students will be in different periods and in between each period you'll have time to get stuff for your next class

as for your style, just wear what you like dont dress differently just dress like you normally do, and ya going to pacsun would be a good idea

DO NOT slack off on your work or it will come back to haunt you

Middle school is one of the best times of your life. Middle school is usually when people really start to care about style and in every middle school I've seen the kids are really into american eagle, hollister, and areo I've also seen alot roxy totes too and purses from claire's. Depending on the size of your class and how your middle school is run classes can be seperated like half of the class in english while the other half is in gym or something. Classes are different than elementary school they are harder, longer, More is expected of you, and there is ALOT of books so build up your strength before school starts.  So overall have fun and good luck!

It's hard for us to tell you what's in style, because the styles are different from place to place.  So your best bet is to get a hold of last year's yearbook, and look at what people were wearing!  If it's completely different from what you have, then go out and buy a few things before school starts... but just a few!  After the first week, you'll have had a chance to see what people are wearing this year, and then you can go out and buy more.

The classes will be a little harder than elementary school, but not by much.  The teachers know what you've been taught in elementary school, and their curriculum is designed to start from that point.  What you MAY find harder is how they expect you to behave; they won't be as easy on you if you forget your homework, come late to class, etc.  They'll expect you to be more responsible, and they'll be quicker to dole out the detentions or give you a zero for late or incomplete work.

One of the best things about middle school is that you'll meet a whole lot of new people.  Especially if you have several elementary schools coming together in one middle school.  You'll find that the groups and cliques from your elementary school are going to change, as everyone makes new friends.  And the people who didn't have many friends in elementary school will have an easier time finding friends; with more people, there's a better chance of finding someone who shares your same style and interests.

i am in my second year at middle school now (going into 7th). i thought it was pretty easy, depending on what teachers you get. my school in split into teams, two in every grade, and the aqua-marine team for special ed. whoever you get, just be sure to do your best and stay out of the drama, though i doubt there will be any. i was freaked last year, because i knew nothing about it, so i hope all these answers help!!

As the first person said, its h**l...haha just kidding. Actually your first year of middle school is rather exciting, and im sure you will enjoy it a lot. There are 7 different classes all around 45-50 minutes long, and youll have many different people in every class. And everyone has there own unique style. Just be yourself. And you can use what ever you want. I see people with all different style bags, vera bradley is fine, i used a jan sport back pack all through middle school, but many girls i saw used totes.

Considering that I've never been to school in America, I can't really help you. All I can guess is that it will be harder, more aimed at older pupils and slightly more stresful.

I always thought you were like 8 when you went to middle school? How old are you?

Yeah. i agree with Blink Katy.. ur entering middle school and u wear make up? like okayy. im 12 entering my 2nd year of middle school. and i do not wear make up. and just a tip its not cool. most girls will just think you are conceited. and dont have any natural beauty.

Its not bad at all.

In fact I just graduated middle school and I am missing it like crazy!

Get up at 6. An hour is plenty of time as long as you keep your shower short and pick out clothes the night before(its lame...but it works)

If you get up too early...it'll kill you by the end of it.

There is no style, there are preppy people and Gothic people so just dress like you.

i usually get up about 45 mins to a hour before i leave. you may need to get up earlier, depending on your schedule. and i wore makeup when i went into middle school, too. vera bradley totes are not out of style, but i personally dont prefer them. be sure to ask plenty of questions in class (even if you think they are stupid the teacher might not) and remember to write ALL of your homework assignments down (thats what killed me in 6th grade.) as to the fashions, im not sure i can much help you out on that, ive always had my own style.

also, middle school isnt terrible, but if you can get past that, then you can get past anything.

Well, I can honestly say that the only part of my middle school years that I miss is the last month of my eighth grade year. Other than that, I think high school is a lot better.

One thing you need to prepare yourself far in middle school is the immaturity and drama thats up ahead. The work isn't much harder than the years before; it's basically the same thing as going from third grade to fourth and fourth to fifth. You are probably going to be switching classes every 40-45 minutes, for each class, if you don't all ready, and homework is crucial!

Our "style" was definitely different from other schools and states for that matter. The reason? Every school in the state where I live have special uniforms for every grade level: elementary, middle, and high school. In elementary is was navy blue bottoms (pants/dresses/shorts/skorts) with a baby blue polo shirt (with the school logo of course; it's recommended). In middle school it was khaki bottoms and a royal blue shirt, with the logo, and high school is khaki bottoms and a purple shirt. Maybe you should think about this before you go blow $400 on a new wardrobe for school. The year WILL pass, and people aren't going to remember if you wore the same shirt in sixth grade as you did in fifth.

As for the tote: if the old one is in good condition, I say just use it. Totes/book sacks, especially for school, don't really "go out" of style. If it isn't in good shape, then maybe you should a new one. (I personally get a new book sack yearly because mine goes through a lot of wear and tear.) I like the Roxy idea, because I had a thing for PacSun when I was your age myself, but totes can often hurt your shoulder if all your books/notebooks get heavy. So, if you think that you might be carrying around a lot of books, you may want to invest in an actually book sack.

Try your best, study for your exams, and try to make the best of it.

In middle school, you can really have any style you want. Don't worry about idf a tote is out of style, and they are very convinient for carrying things around. I love them! You also may want to think about your morning routine, because it ends up being very difficult waking up that early. You can take a shower at night if you want, and pick out your clothes then, so you can wake up later. If you choose to put on make-up, don't do it because you think other people like it. Only do it if you feel it is for yourself. Don't worry about being fasion forward. Worry about making friends and experiencing things such as after school activities, music, sports, and parties. (but don't party too hard). Good luck in middle school. The school work is manageable and if you open up to people, you'll have fun.

don't listen to them, you are not too young for makeup, as long as you do so tastefully.

buy whichever bag you want, and that fits your style.

your morning should go pretty much the same, adjusting time for riding the bus or driving to school.

you will have four or five minutes between periods to go to your locker, usually. use this time wisely. most of my classes were on the first and second floors, so i would talk to my friends for the first two or three minutes, then walk to class with my books the last two. then, my drama class was moved to the basement. i still talked for my three minutes and was late. =p

middle school is great if you have real friends. and that other answerer was wrong, there ARE popular kids, but as long as you have two good friends you're okay.

Ok, middle school can be fun but it is stressful. You have to set your priorities and make some difficult decisions (I had to quit ice skating, ) because there's just too much homework and other after school activities. It's not too bad if you stay on top of homework and study for tests and also have lots of friends to help you out and plenty of extra curricular stuff to keep you happy. It's not THAT much different then grade school.

Wake up: 6:25

6:30 Eat breakfast (most important meal of the day! ) Smoothies are really yummy healthy and filling! I love berries and yogurt!

6: 45 Take shower: shampoo and condition hair, wash, shave etc

6:55 Get dressed (it's time efficient if you lay out the next day's outfit the night b4.

7:00: Style/ Straighten hair

7:10 : Makeup and Contacts

7:20 : leave and go hang out with friends until school starts

Everybody has a different style. Many middle school's have cliques but don't worry about being a clique: be yourself and lots of people will like you.

I'd get the roxy tote, they're really cute and go with lots of different outfits.

Um to start of middle school is completely different from elementary school... You'll usually start of with maybe five class periods a day and as you advance grades you go up a class..There's no p.e, recess ,or what ever  instead you have a p.e class that you get a grade for... And school work is hard 6 th grade not hard ,7th grade kinda ,8 th grade going to. And people really don't see you as a kid any more they see you as a teen. So as advice watch out for 8 th graders. Because in there eyes your a freshmen while there seniors of the school...  And don't act up because you get detention now. Also your too young for makeup.
