want to order contac lenses online but cant find place to do it without up to date prescription. My script is 2 years old. ripped 1 contact, just want a replacement without having to spend $250. What is missouri law for eye prescription renewal or what website doesnt require a script?

  1. Well, it is federal law. So, if your contact lense Rx is Expired, or over a year old, it is not valid. It is illegal to fill an invalid prescription anywhere. So, most likely you can not legally order them from anyone. You might find someone that would do it illegally, but most people are not willing to lose their lively hood because someone like you does not want to play by the rules. The FDA has determined that contact lenses are medical devices that take monitoring by a physician. This makes the liability of dispensing it without an RX just like dealing illegal drugs. Check and see if you can find a reputable docto that will not charge you that much, or see if your regular doctor will let you  make payments. The health of your eye, and the professionals that are involved deserve that kind of respect.
