I see so many girl come on here and ask, “I play/like hockey. Do guys like this?” Most of you guys are pretty nice and say good/nice things. With that said, what makes a chick more hockey attractive:

A) Plays hockey, is ripped, and total kicks butt.

B) Watches hockey, can name some of the major players, but obviously is a Homer.

C) Wants to go to games with you, because she likes spending time with you...but doesn't have a clue.

D) Wants to watch games with you, (because she wants to know about your interests) but asks you countless questions, and never remembers the answers and will ask you the same questions the next game.

E) Has no interest in hockey whatsoever. She thinks you are crazy to invest so much time watching, playing, or thinking about it.

F) Hates hockey with a passion and is always asking you when the game is going to be over…..but she is a freak when it is time to go to *cough* sleep *wink*

Girls feel free to answer what you think that guys think.

  1. Well, I think none.  I love hockey, know most of the players and watch with my hubby cause he is a sports freak, we go to games cause it is so much fun and we get some one on one time with eachother....

  2. Any "female" that supports the violence that pervades hockey, has no femininity anyway. Its not exactly a nurturing trait to cheer for someone to get his face beaten in. Cheering violence is far from a feminine trait.

  3. Well i've been through E, its not so bad. C would be the best. Followed by B, D, and A and F are tied for last

  4. Well, my guess is that guys would like girl B because she has the same interest as him but even though she isn't an expert she still enjoys the sport and won't mind spending some time with him watching hockey.

in all honesty, I am sort of like B (and that has nothing to do with why I picked it, it was just my guess) because I often feel ignorant around all of you knowledgeable hockey fans haha but I still love the sport and my team

  5. B.  Though it scares me to think that, if it was not New England's Farrelly Brothers but Tim Robbins who had turned the English soccer novel "Fever Pitch" into a movie, he'd have set it in 1993-94 and made it about the Rangers.  Even his "wife" Susan Sarandon doesn't look good in a Blueshirt! (They're also both Met fans, that's two ewwwws!)

  6. Either A or B or even both.

To me it's a combination of both. I like a girl who is fun and enjoys hockey because she likes it. Not because she wants to impress a guy who she knows likes hockey. If she genuinely likes it. That's even better. If she's that knowledgeable on the game. Even better.

I don't care if someone is a "homer". As long as they don't mind the fact I might like a different team. I live in St. Louis but can't stand the Blues. I never will like them.

I also don't mind if the girl likes hockey and doesn't know a lot about it. If she's willing to learn and enjoys it.. that's good too.

Sorry if I am a bit vague. There isn't one definitive answer.

  7. Watches hockey, can name some of the major players, but obviously is a Homer.

  8. I would want A with a one exception.

I think chicks that are ripped are extremly unatractive so if she isnt ripped and playes hockey thats totally hot.

  9. G)Knows the players, goes to games with me cause she knows the sport and LOVES spending time with me and is totally ripped.BUT she admits shes a bit of a homer just like me.

  10. B

  11. Hi

The Tuna's one true love, loves going to games, but never ask a question about the game. She cheers when the home team scores and when they fight. She is a complete homer but that is fine with the Tuna because of what she does at home.

    Thank You

  12. I think some guys would be intimidated by type A and wouldn't know what to do with themselves, but on the other hand, a secure man would find this to be a match made in heaven.

type B seems like the best choice.

type C and D are nice, and it's thoughtful she wants to get to know the sport because it's something he's into, but that can get annoying during important games.

type E and F should be left at the bar you came to watch the game at.  just back away slowly, then run.  these girls aren't to be trusted, and once you let them in, you'll never have access to the remote again.  EVER.

  13. mhmmm, great quetion. I would have to say A., C or F.

  14. lol, like my brother always says: Never date a girl that can kick your @ss, so that rules out option A.

B and D are going to get annoying after a while, because super homers who can't talk about hockey with some intelligence is really aggravating.  Like, GO DEVILS!!  YEAH!  is gonna be annoying.  And constant questions that you've answered so many times will be just as bad.

E isn't good because they'll probably argue.  When he wants to do hockey stuff, she'll get bitchy.

F is the worst because her bitching and moaning about hockey isn't worth it.

So that leaves C because she's making an effort to get to know the best game on earth, and doesn't complain.

  15. I will take...

    G. Homes is more attractive... (trying to get brownie points)

Actually C.. cause she can learn the game the right way over time! She can learn the (Cough Cough) *Freak* thing  from a d********x!

  16. What about G) Wants to teach you hockey, go to games with you, watch the game on TV because she loves it with a passion and wants to share it with you.

I taught my boyfriend everything he knows about hockey.  He could only name one hockey player when I met him and now he's just as big a fan as I am.

  17. I think a fine blend of A through C. Current wife is best described by B, as was first wife. The others were D to F. (Nobody told me I could test drive these things, I thought I had to buy the whole lot)

Hey look it's Sammy. Hi Sammy, hows that crusade thing going?

  18. Anything but F, cause I would only want to be with someone who respects my hobbies, and A would just be weird.

My wife is definitely E, still doesn't know hockey exists, but she loves college footballl.....something I could care less about.

This question reminded me of Tragically Hip's song Fireworks for some reason.....

    ...

And all I remember was sitting beside you

You said you didn't give a !@#$ about hockey

And I never saw someone say that before

You held my hand and we walked home the long way

You were loosening my grip on Bobby Orr
