  10. A deceitful friend.

  11. A desperate foe with an active nuclear bomb?

  12. More dangerous (personally) than a desperate foe would be the fear of one.  Desperate fear would be even more dangerous than that.  To be chill in the face of any adversity, and especially in the face of desperation (yours or theirs), is next to the most important thing in life.  Maybe the most important thing would be to know, from the beginning, that what you actually are, is also to know complete fearlessness.  What you actually are is the very essence of impersonal fearlessness.  The "me" fears extinction, but you are not that me or that ego/personality.  With this understanding and with the love that is pure being, what to do next is a no-brainer in any situation.  Knowing this is ultimate change within.  Yeah, I know it sounds abstract, but it is quite real if known.

Less abstract?  OK, then if you live in the US, then how far away from a desperate foe are you?  Not very far at all?  Just beyond the front door of your home ?  Change begins with ourselves and it is the only thing that actually makes any difference.  If you run out of time, see the first paragraph.  I appreciate your concern, deeply.
