  1. Are you saying which is more desirable a candidate who can admit they were wrong or not lie as the case may be or one that thinks they know it all or are you asking who is more desirable a candidate that says what you want to hear in a well written scripted teleprompted speech or a guy that doesn't OMG know how many houses his wife owns?

  2. Plato once said that a wise person is one who knows that there are things he doesn't know.  This still holds pretty true in our world, I think.  I mean, it's impossible to do any job right (let alone being President) if you think that you know everything.  Nobody can know everything about his job, so why not just be alert about what you don't know?

Plus, someone who is aware of what he doesn't know is also likely to be aware of what he does know, while someone who only focuses on what he does know is less likely to be aware of what he doesn't know.

  3. Give me the candidate who knows how to soundly pick his or her advisers. The one who acknowledges lack of knowledge will  be more apt to surround themselves with qualified experts who will give out sage advice. Basically, then any idiot can be chosen to head our country as long as they have excellent people skills and can elicit and evaluate sound advice.

  4. ..don't ask me...I know nothing.....nooooothiinngg!

  5. Both? But being able to do the latter is important.

  6. One who acknowledges what he doesn't

  7. One who profeses what he knows

There is no knowledge in the admission of a man's lack of knowledge-Theses H. Fictionale (1672-1733)

  8. I see nothing.

The latter.  If you are referring to McCain and his admission to not being an economics expert, I have found comfort in the fact that he recognizes this.

\Smart as Obama may be, he isnt an expert in every subject, and if he doesnt recognize this, he wont take advice when he needs it from people who know better.

  9. Ok..perfect world here..

A candidate would only be judged on the candidate.

A candidate would only be judged on the reality...

I know who I support, but I dread the next few months around here and in real life.

I am so tired of the kindergarten name calling.
