What is more difficult running a marathon or being in DCI band?

Me and my roommates were discussing what was more difficult physically and mentally to do. Is it more difficult to be a Drum Corps International band member (DCI) or a World Class Marathon Runner? Take into consideration timed breathing and coordinated marching movements needed for DCI band. Also take into account mental toughness and difficulty of completing and competing on a international level as a world class marathon runner.

marathon involves a lot of time and effort. You cant just train a week or month before hand. You train for ages, spend a lot of your day training, and no slacking
