What is more energy efficient daily using my rechargeable electronics off of the battery or the power adapter?

Plug them while I am using them, or unplugging them and running them off the batteries and recharging the batteries when they drain down.

  1. plugging them in is MUCH more energy efficient.

    A good battery might be 50% as efficient as the ower grid.


  2. Best to get a small solar panel, like for an RV,Boat,Car. Then an inverter, if needed.

    Just match the volts, watts and amps up.

  3. Keep it plugged in when possible.  When you do need to use the battery, be sure to also unplug the adapter so that you're not wasting "phantom" energy.  Most appliances still suck energy when they're not turned on.
