um surfing, its all you, you don't need the wind to push you , like stand up paddle now that sh it defeats the purpose of surfing. it's stupid and ridiculous.

It depends on the day.. Is it windy or is there a swell?? IF there is a awesome swell and the waves are coming in then surfing all the way.

Otherwise if there is ok wind conditions for kit surfing that is fun too because you are not waiting for a wave all day.

Kit surfing is more expensive and a lot of people get hurt on it beacause the wind can suck u up 100 ft then drop you like a pancake. So be carefull.

With surfing you just have to worry about getting out of the way and not killing yourself by drowing.
