What is more important,fighting over Shiaism and Sunnism,OR following five pillars of Islam?

because on the day of Judgment, we will be answering to Allah for our OWN deeds.

Do you think Islaam is restricted to the 5 pillars?

Allaah says:

اتَّبِعُوا مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

(((Say to them O Muhammad) Follow what has been sent down unto

you from your Lord (the Qur'aan and the Sunnah), and follow not any Awliyaa (protectors and helpers, etc. who order you to associate partners in worship with Allaah), besides Him (Allaah). Little do you remember!)) (Surah Al-A'raaf: 3)

Imaam Aboo Ismaa’eel al Haraawee said in his Dhamm al Kalaam (1/111) that Yahya bin Yahya said:

الذّبُّ عن السُّنّة أفضلُ من الجهاد في سبيل الله

((Defending the Sunnah is more virtuous than Jihaad))

So Muhammad bin Yahya adh-Dhuhlee said:

الرجلُ ينفِقُ مالَه ويُتْعِبُ نفسَه ويجاهد، فهذا أفضلُ منه؟

((A man gives his wealth and himself and fights on the battlefield, and then this is better than him?))

Yahya bin Yayha replied:

نعم بكثير!

((Yes much better))

Ibn Taymiyyah also recorded in his Majmoo' al-Fataawa about Imaam Ahmad that it was said to him:

إنه يثقل على أن أقول فلان كذا، وفلان كذا‏.‏ فقال‏:‏ إذا سكت أنت وسكت أنا، فمتى يعرف الجاهل الصحيح من السقيم

((I do not feel right about saying so-and-so is like this and so-and-so is like this. So (Imaam Ahmad) he said: If you remain silent, and if I remain silent then how will the ignorant person know the authentic from the defective?))

Imaam al-Bukhaaree said in his Khalq Af'aal al-'Ibaad 125,

ما أبالي صليت خلف الجهمي والرافضي ، أم صليت خلف اليهود والنصارى ولا يسلم عليهم ولا يعادون ولا يناكحون ولا يشهدون ولا تؤكل ذبائحهم

((I do not give any consideration to prayer behind the Jahmee and the Raafidhee, nor praying behind a Jew or Christian. They are not to be greeted, nor are they to be visited, nor are they to be married, nor is their testimony accepted, nor are their sacrificed meat to be eaten.))

103:3 Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Sunnis and Shias have a different set of pillars of Islam and Hadiths. The only thing we both agree on is the Quran, Allah being the only God, and Muhammad being the messenger. Further than that, differences vary from minute to very distinct.

here's a hadeeth.

a man bedoin comes to the prophet(saw) and asks about islam the prophet told him that he should believe in the oneness of Allah and that he(saw) is the last messenger. and pray 5 times daily &more if you like to and pay zaka' once in a year and other times if you like to fast in the month of ramadan and more if you like to and perform the pilgrimage to Mecca once in life time and more if you like to. the bedoin replied bu Allah i believe in Allah and you(saw) is the last messenger of Allah and i'll pray only 5 times a day not even 1 more. i'll give zaka' once a year and no other time and i'll fast in ramadaan only and perform hajj only once.

the prophet said 'if this man is telling the truth he'll get Jannah'.

so it's important to fulfill the obligations of islaam but we should also invite pple to good and frobid them from evil. it's very important. i don't mean that we should fight but the right thing must be conveyd to them.

Importance would be fighting the self to follow five pillars of Islam upon Ahlu Sunnah along the struggle in the path of Da'wa with wisdom and good speech.

Edit: Yes Salaf Saliheen did make clear to us what's truth and what's false. Things went wrong when we remained in debates only and we forget ourselves to practice what we speak. We started to seek the knowledge without the Zikr of Allah (s.w.t). Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) used to seek refuge from the knowledge that's not beneficial. So were the Sahaba (R.A).  They all were more in action than what they spoke.  

Ibn al-Qayyim al Jawzi (R.A) says ...I once attended fajr prayer with Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (r.a), he then sat and remembered Allaah (s.w.t) until it was nearly midday. he then turned around and said to me, 'This is my early morning meal, if I do not take this breakfast, my strength will drop.'

That was their strength in their struggle....
