Only common sense and more regard for the things that we really need: fresh air, clean water, an unpolluted earth.

Technology in the end just might destroy the world, however, it certainly has added a great deal to the survival and welfare of mankind in many wonderful ways.  

But in the end, when all is said and done, all is lost and there is a new bottoms up build of civilization again, there will be that small spark that is needed for the survival mankind and his ability to do what is necessary to carry on.  Religion will be there as long as humans can look to the heavens and see the moon against the black sky sprinkled by the twinkling of the stars.  As long as the sun continues it morning rise in the east and its nightly departure in the western orange sky at dusk.  The wind, rain and snow will herald the promise that man is not alone.

I would say religion but in fact the word is faith we have had great technological advances but society is falling apart with the breakdown of the family and the increase of violent crime which i believe is connected to the increase in disbelief and selfish commercialism.
