  1. Technically, I believe it's diesel. However, you will get the biggest whoomph off of petrol if you stick a match to it.

    This is because petrol evaporates into a heavier-than-air vapour and sits on top of the liquid. This gas gives a much better explosion than any liquid fuel would.

    So I think the volatility scale goes thusly:

    Diesel

    Petrol

    Four Stroke Oil

    Water

    But that the ease of explosion under CTP (normal) conditions is as follows:

    Petrol

    Diesel

    Four Stroke Oil

    Water

    For practical applications, water is as good as completely inert.


  2. Gasoline by far.

    (1) gasoline

    (2) diesel (Kerosene - same thing)

    (3) engine oil

    (4) water
