You need to visit a psychiatrist. Not just any anti depressant will do. It is based on individual need. I am sorry for your loss.

i lost a few friends a while back and needed higher ground. i took cymbalta for around a year and it helped alot. 60mg/day.

now i just take a huge rip off the old bong and i'm good to go. legalize!!

SSRIs which include fluoxetine, paroxetine, lexapro, citalopram, and sertraline are the most common medications for depression.  Usually a doctor would consider one of these first if you have depression.

Lexapro, Prozac, Zoloft, Cymbalta, Wellbutrin are all common, but not every med works best for every person.  You may have to try a few to find what helps you the most, but don't give up!
