I am wondering who you think is more important to a nascar team.

I think it is the pit crew.

  1. COMMUNICATION!

  2. sponsers for the money, and crew to keep the car racing

  3. Every part of a team is integral....   if one part isn't up to par the whole team suffers...

  4. sponsors

  5. the sponsors - without them sooner or later there is no team. drivers who bring them, get rides; those that don't, lose them, and sometimes the whole team...

  6. I don't think there is a such thing as "the most important thing". It takes all things to come together.

  7. ENGINEERS!!!

    Engineers Lead the Way

  8. I have to say "TEAM WORK".  If they don't all work together, they go nowhere.  You can't do the job with any one of the team missing, so.....

    Go jr.>>>>

  9. CREW CHIEF for sure

  10. All the fans that tune in and turn out for every race.

  11. Definitely the pit crew. Where would the driver be without the help of all these guys making their car better? If not for the pit crew, the car would not be able to work as it should and the driver would not be able to win a race. SO the driver is completely lost without their pit crew (and the pit crew chief).

  12. Cash MONEY.  The R&D costs so much.  While a pit crew is crucial, having a car that can compete is more important.  .  That's why the teams do so well, as they can combine the research costs.

  13. The driver.  You can have the best engineers, the best sponsors, the best pit crew, the best crew chief, the best owner and even the best car but if you don't have a good driver what good is it to have the best of everything else?

  14. The entire race staff from the sponsors, owner, crew chief, tire changers, gas and catch can man, tire carriers, man i could go on and on....it takes complete TEAMWORK to meld to make the car where the driver is comfortable, competitive and ready to RACE!

  15. A driver is only as good as his team.

And the fans.  The fans are the bottom line.  The money spenders.
