What is msauc.exe????/??

Question

my norton detected it making 11 modifications to my windows startup settings.... is this a program that is supposed to be on my comp or is it like a trojan backdoor or w/e. VIA this link http://www.greatis.com/appdata/d/m/msauc.exe.htm

other than that, there's no info on it. idk if i should trust that and delete it.

Msauc.exe is Trojan/Backdoor., so having said that get superantispyware free edition, download, update, and do an in depth scan in safe mode, it finds all the c**p that the others miss., you should also consider doing a online virus scan such as Trend Micro Housecall., Good luck with your problam.,

Yes you should delete it as these two instances of it are

definetely trustworthy....not sure about "greatis"

but have no reason to doubt it as they agree

with the other two....and have a fuller description.

if norton detect it, just delete or quarantine the thing, if you don't trust norton which you paid for then uninstall it. :) anyway if you want to make sure you can try to Follow the instruction on the link below to clean your computer your probably infected
