Well, it depends what your looking for.  

If you want something for your entire family or household, then the Wii is the best choice.  If you're at home a lot bored, the Wii, but if you want something to yourself and on the go the DS is the better of the two choices.

Basically one is a great console; the other is a great hand-held.

they both hav there good and bad attributes but Wii is over all better, they both hav wireless connectivity but wheras the wii has a wider range of games the DS is portable, and also the price is an option but if you dnt mind paying the extra for the Wii you will hav more fun.I think the fact that the Wii is more of a sociable game it appeals to more people.

I actually prefer the DS but my suggestion is to try both and see which one you like best.

I have both and they are both SO fun to play.... So get both!

Wii is better if you want to play with the family, hands down, but if you want to play by yourself or with someone else that has one, DS.
