If so, then:

(86 + 84 + 84 + 70 + 68) / 5 =

392 / 5 =

78.4

(78.4 × 10%) + 78.4 =

7.84 + 78.4 =

86.24

Are the 4 bonus points added into the average or at the end?

If at the end, then:

86.24 + 4 =

90.24

Your average plus 4 points bonus is 82.4% if you add 10% on the total, it would be 92.4%....if you add 10% of the average, it would be 82.5%, it depends on where you add the 10%? But you at least got a B :)

it is 86.24 you add them all together and divide by 5 then you multiply that number by .10 then you add that number to the number of the original average
