  1. She is just a Tabby Cat - Domestic Short Haired (DSH). Remember, Tabbys come in all colors Orange, Gray, Dark. Yours appears to have some Orange in it (which is common for Tabbys).

  2. Wow she has gorgeous eyes. Anyway I know she has Tabby in her because of her markings. I don't think she is mixed with abyssinian or calico. You'd think she'd be smaller and have bigger ears if she had abyssinian in her. She may just be a tabby. Tabby is just a coat pattern though and not a breed. It may be impossible to know what breeds are in her. Here is a link you may find interesting http://cats.about.com/cs/tabbycats/a/tab...

  3. That pic's a bit overflashed so a bit hard to see her coat.  Can you take another one without the flash?  She doesn't look like any particular breed (like 97% of the cats on this planet) and most definitely not Abyssinian.

Tabby and calico are COLOURS - not breeds.  From what I can see in the pic it looks like she has Tabby as well as some splotches of red (orange is "Red") in cat colours.  If that's so then her colouring would be "Brown Mackerel Torbie" since it's the combination of Tortie/Calico with Tabby.

Here's some other cats like that so you can compare -http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/torti...

And here's a few domestic shorthairs like your cat in that colour:

  4. Well it seems to me that your cat may be mixed with some abyssinian which is actually quite common now a days regardless of what others may say - Abyssinians have strands of hair that actually are tricolored - each strand is three different colors on a single strand - they tend to have a amber colored undercoat - you can look up pics on the internet of breeds that are mixed and you very well may find your cat - your cat may also be mixed with

DSH which is typical but other than that i do not see any other cat breed but i am not an expert - i do have a Abyssinian mixed breed myself and this was told to me by my actual vet and then i researched her and found it to be true - My abby is Jazmine her son actually looks just like her but her other son has mancoon mixed in so he is quite large and mixed up looking - have fun with your abby
